November and December are the BEST months to BUY NEW construction homes. Typically this is the time of year when builders offer incentives to help liquidate inventory before the end of year. Some incentives offered:

Builder paid BUY DOWN interest rates - sometimes this might just be for the first year, but some may offer a 2 year buy down… this might result in easier monthly payments at least for the first part of home ownership.

Builder paid closing costs - this can help reduce the amount needed for the buyer to wire prior to closing.

FREE upgrade on appliances - nice incentive if you have high-end design taste on limited budget

FREE blinds to covering those brand new windows- Window coverings are typically an extra expense and can be a costly part of buying new construction homes
These are just some of the examples I have seen, but of course depends on several factors, varying by builder, locations and time limitations. BUT very important to know before you GO visit a MODEL home for new construction
